VA LOWER SCHOOL

 

 

Are looking to appoint

 

2 x Teaching Assistants (with one role to cover after school club)

Level 2 NJC Point 1-4

£17842-£18933(pro rata)

 

Role one  9.00am to 1.00pm (4 hours per day) Monday to Friday

Role two  1.30pm to 5.30pm (4 hours per day) Monday to Thursday

term time only (including Inset Days)

 

However, flexibility is an essential part of this role as the needs of pupils are our priority.

 

St Leonard’s is a thriving Church of England, Voluntary Aided lower school in a beautiful woodland setting just outside of Leighton Buzzard. The ideal candidate must be a team player as well as being able to work on their own initiative. 

 

You will need to possess excellent communication skills, at all levels, be enthusiastic, motivated, hardworking, caring and approachable along with the ability to support children, of all abilities, through inclusive practice.

 

 You will act under supervision to implement agreed work programmes with individuals and/or groups of pupils and ideally will have previous significant experience of working as a Teaching Assistant or equivalent.

 

Candidates should have a good understanding of current educational issues and ideally have experience of working within both key stages.
