Literacy
When the Mini beasts got to the dance they all had their own special moves on the dance floor. Read through the story again or watch the video to find out which creature danced which move. Can you draw a picture of the animal that makes that move in each box?
Maths
Day 3 Superworm. There is a variety of activities that can be completed in relation to the story. You don’t have to complete them all. Choose the ones you think are easier to complete at home.

Activity 1
Today you need to guess the minibeast by simply listening to the clues. Before you start this activity you need to cut out your images to get ready for the game. There are six different minibeasts that you need to correctly identify and place in the correct box. Your adult needs to read out the clues but not show you the answers. Find the minibeast and stick it in the correct box.
Activity 2
Can you make some moves like the creatures did at the Minibeast Bop? Maybe you could make a video of your moves.
Try these moves.
Can you tap dance like an ant?
Can you boogie like the beetles?
Can you slide like the slug? (Or try a log roll!)
Can you wiggle like the worms?
Can you pose like the ladybird?
Can you flap like the ladybird?
Reading
