Remember to keep practising sounds and story green words and speedy green words. You don’t have to do all at once, just the ones you need the most practise with.

Story Time: Twist and Hop Minibeast Bop By Tony Mitton

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

Literacy

Read or listen to the story again. What an amazing time the bugs were going to have at the dance. Oh dear! Is snail going to make it on time? He can hear the music and the other bugs are making their way quickly to the dance. He has a big dilemma. How does he feel? How does he solve his problem? Talk to your adult or your partner and tell them what you think.

You need to make sure you are speaking and writing in a full sentence. How much can you write on your own using your phonic knowledge?

Maths

Day 2 Superworm. There is a variety of activities that can be completed in relation to the story. You don’t have to complete them all. Choose the ones you think are easier to complete at home.

UtW/PD/EAD/PSED

Today we are going to make our snail a bright shell to go to the 'Minibeast Bop'. Below is a possible list of things that you might need. I have also put some pictures on to give you some ideas. If you don't have an old CD just use a paper plate or a thick card circle.

CD’S/DVD’S                 Paint
PVA Glue                     Glitter
Buttons                       Sequins
Wool                          Construction Paper
Wiggly  Eyes                Pipe Cleaners
Scissors

Step back and watch a special snail shell appear.

Next, cut out some ‘snail’ shapes and glue the shells onto its back.
