Monday
Practise the words on the first two slides of the PowerPoint. I would usually have these on a flash card that the children would recognise as Story Green words and Red words and the second slide is the Speedy Green words.
Phonics

Get your child to read the story on the last three slides. Instructions are on top of the page to help.
Complete a sentence. This needs to be completely independent. The missing words are all words that you have read in the story
Literacy
Listen to the story from last week The King of Tiny Things, which is still on Friday's page. Or read the story if you are lucky enough to have the story. Keep a note of all the minibeasts that were mentioned in the story. Your job is to draw as many of those minibeasts and label each one. Please try and write the words yourself.
Have a go at these activities and write down your answers and email me. I have included a PDf version that you can either open up and look at or print out and use.
