Today you need to watch the PowerPoint that I put on and practise all the sounds. Continue to use the set 2 stretchy sounds booklet. This week we are concentrating only on the or sound. In the booklet work through page 26.

Literacy

It’s always fun to be invited to a party. Can you think about which minibeast you would like to invite to the ‘Twist and hop Minibeast Bop. It could be a minbeast that we have not read a story about. The choice is yours. Is there a minibeast that you think we should invite. Using the template write your own invite. Don’t forget to give them the important details about date, time, place and what kind of party it is.

Maths

Day 5 Superworm. There is a variety of activities that can be completed in relation to the story. You don’t have to complete them all. Choose the ones you think are easier to complete at home.

UtW/PD/EAD/PSED

Combination of UtW and maths today. Print out your sheets for this activity and look carefully and using your knowledge of mini beasts sort them onto the correct leaf. Ask your adult to help you read which leaf is which. Practise your cutting skills by carefully cutting out each minibeast square.

Reading

Scooters - You should be able to read lots of these words (this can be read throughout the week). Should develop confidence and fluency.
